If you use Windows Vista then you must download SP1 immediately!
That’s right! Microsoft finally released Service Pack 1 for Windows Vista. In my opinion, they should have waited to release Windows Vista with Service Pack 1 to ease some of the frustration for us early adopters but I guess they wanted to unleash that crap as soon as possible and start making some more money. I still don’t understand why they could wait to release Windows Server 2008 until February 2008 but they just had to release Vista so much sooner (I still ask myself … what’s wrong with Windows XP?). I guess it’s so companies like mine can be the guinea pigs for Vista. OK, so yes, this IS what I signed up for when I committed to my industry so I won’t complain anymore (yeah right).
If you haven’t guessed yet I’m not entirely sold on Windows Vista and I’m extremely cautious about suggesting that my clients jump on the bandwagon and migrate to Vista. I have problems with my Vista computer all the time and some days I want to kick my computer right out of the window. It really makes me mad! So, I think that Microsoft has a lot of work to do and hopefully they’re making sincere efforts to make Vista even better in the future. If you are one of the few that have already started using Windows Vista then I would highly recommend that you download & install Service Pack 1 as soon as possible. Anything is better than Windows Vista with no service pack!!!
Here are the links you’ll need to download the service pack:
If you need to install SP1 on more than one computer then download the full service pack from http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=b0c7136d-5ebb-413b-89c9-cb3d06d12674&DisplayLang=en
If you have only one computer you want to update then you can save yourself some time by downloading Service Pack 1 using the Windows Update Control Panel applet in Windows Vista.

I hope that this update will make your computing experience much better, but if it doesn’t don’t yell at me. I didn’t write the code
